Bioscope

Bio-scope was created as an installation for NID's Independence day celebrations. Technically it was just a slideshow of still images, and didn't contain any form of animation as in actual bio-scopes. The design was inspired by age-old folk art form of India — the Truck Art.
The idea was to create an experience which was both interactive as well as something to which the students could relate to.

So we took the photographs of the college students and photoshopped them into photographs associated with the Indian freedom struggle and nationality.
That's me awarding the Cricket World Cup to Kapil Dev in the first photograph :)
And this was the reaction received
The entire project was made completely out of waste materials, and the final cost turned out to be just ₹60, which is less than $1(USD).
